Corey Cardenas, AMFT

Equine Therapist
Corey is an experienced and compassionate equine therapist who has been offering her services since 2011. Specializing in equine-assisted therapy, she is a HIGH and EAGALA-certified equine specialist, using horses as a powerful tool to help individuals connect, heal, and grow. Through her work, Corey helps clients develop trust, improve communication, and gain insight into their emotional and behavioral patterns by learning to read body language and energy.
Corey’s lifelong passion for horses began at the age of three, and her deep connection with these animals has shaped her unique approach to therapy. She is guided by a genuine love for people, a strong trust in the Divine, and a sense of humor that makes her work both effective and approachable.
She works alongside her two healing horses, Koa and Gracie, who play a pivotal role in the therapeutic process. Corey is currently pursuing her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy through the University of Massachusetts Global.
